Red Deer Polytechnic departments may request Faculty/Staff/Student to provide their photographs. This personal information that you provide to Red Deer Polytechnic is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act - section 33(c). We use this information you share with us only for official university business purposes, including identification and preparing your institution ID. Collected personal information is protected from unauthorized access, collection, use, and disclosure in accordance with the FOIP Act and can be reviewed upon request subject to the provisions under the Act.

To have your university ID card ready for you upon your arrival, we ask that you submit a professional color photo. You can upload a color snapshot showing a full front view of your head and shoulders according to the requirements shown on this site. By using this process, you will avoid lines and save valuable time. By submitting this photo for your student ID, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of the personal information you provide to us as described in this Statement, or as otherwise permitted by law.

The iCard is the property of RDP and may be revoked at any time. Cards are non-transferable and may only be used by the person to whom they were issued. Unauthorized use, alteration or duplication warrants confiscation and/or disciplinary action. Cards become invalid upon termination of affiliation with RDP. You accept responsibility for all fines incurred and for lost or damaged materials borrowed on this card.
